The Aldridge Cricket Academy provides specific and intensive cricket coaching programmes for male and female cricket players, delivered by a dedicated coaching team consisting of ECB qualified specialist coaches, including Chris Adams and James Anyon. It is a unique partnership between Brighton Aldridge Community Academy (BACA), Portslade Aldridge Community Academy (PACA), and Sussex Cricket.

Facilities at both academy school campuses, which have benefited from a combined capital investment of nearly £40m in the last 3 years, are complemented by a top-class coaching programme originally developed with former Sussex and England star James Kirtley, Sussex’s most capped player ever, and Alexia Walker, the ACA’s Director of Cricket.

BACA and PACA provide post 16 study programmes that integrate with the Cricket Academy training and development blocks, giving students the chance to develop their sporting talent and academic qualifications together, rather than having to choose between the two, or having the constant stress of dealing with conflicting training and college work schedules.
