This Easter The Aldridge Cricket Academy is hosting two cricket camps, a girls camp on the 16th April and a Boys camp on the 18th April.
After seeing huge success in February half term we are bringing you two more camps this Easter.
At both camps we will be looking to cover all aspects of the game alongside ensuring that every child has a huge smile on their face through out the day.
We will be covering fun and high intensity fielding and agility games, with challenges and competitions to keep everyone engaged. The day will also see a batting masterclass consisting of a variety of drills covering the fundamentals, assisting in preparation for the start of the fast approaching cricket season. Emphasis will be placed on tactical bowling and field settings, helping to educate younger players in what to bowl in certain situations and having the confidence to do so and become clearer on plans with their fields. The day will provide exciting opportunities for everyone to have a go at bowling the likes of variation balls and yorkers, with batters being brave and taking on the paddle and hitting 360 around the ground.
At lunch we will be giving a Nutritional talk to all the children to provide education to the children on what it is like to train and eat like a professional athlete and small tips to take away at the end of the day.
Girls Camp is 16th April, 9am-3pm at The Sir Rod Aldridge Cricket Centre for ages 10+ or fully hardball competent.
Boys Camp is 18th April, 9am-3pm at The Sir Rod Aldridge Cricket Centre for ages 10+ or fully hardball competent.
The price per child for the day is £50.
